Oklahoma City — At least one person has been shot and killed in SW Oklahoma City after a dispute with police around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

This happened at the Brookwood Village Apartments near SW 89th Street and Western Avenue.

At this time we know two Oklahoma City police officers were involved in a confrontation when one of the officers shot and killed the suspect.

Police chopper Air One was over the scene, it appeared to be a possible search in progress, although officials would not confirm that information.

Residents say they heard multiple gunshots being fired back and forth.

Officials on scene are currently interviewing witnesses and have not confirmed the identity of the deceased.

This is a developing story.
