JENKS, Okla. – Authorities in Oklahoma are still searching for a missing teen who disappeared after school.

Joseph Gomes, 17, didn’t come home after school last Tuesday.

School officials say Gomes attended all of his classes at Jenks High School that day, but his sister said he never got on the bus after school.

Friends and family are worried about Gomes’ safety because they say he has special needs and has been without medication, KJRH reports.

“His personal items are still in his room. His shoes, his toothbrush, his toothpaste, everything. So it’s kind of concerning me because if you’re leaving, you’re taking things with you. Everything’s still in the house,” Gomes’ father, Horace Wellons, told KJRH.

If you know of his whereabouts, please call police.
