Police: Oklahoma man shot in chest after hearing knock at the door

TULSA, Okla. – Authorities are investigating after a man was shot in the chest early Tuesday morning.

According to KJRH, police say the resident at the Stonecreek Apartments heard a knock at his door and when he opened it, he was shot in the chest.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but investigators believe he will survive.

Investigators say the victim’s wife and child were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.

The alleged gunman ran from the scene before officers arrived.

FOX 23 reports that no suspects or motives have been determined at this point.
