Fourth-ranked North Carolina shot 58 percent from the field and outrebounded Oklahoma State by 16 on their way to a 107-75 win in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational on Tuesday night in Hawaii.

The Tar Heels had six players in double figures, led by Joel Berry’s 24 points, and took control early in the game.

UNC led by 13 at halftime and went on a 12-0 run early in the second half to blow the game open.

OSU was led by guard Jawun Evans, who had 30 points, but he was one of only two Cowboys in double figures.

Lindy Waters had 10 points, while Phil Forte was held to 2 points on 0-3 shooting from the field.

The Cowboys shot just 36 percent from the field.

OSU drops to 4-1 on the season.

The Cowboys will play Georgetown for third place in the Maui Invitational Wednesday at 6:30 CST.
