One dead after house fire in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – A person has died after a house fire in southwest Oklahoma City.

The fire was reported around 8 p.m. Monday near S.W. 29th and Portland.

Officials said it was a vacant structure, where transients often stay.

There were bars on the windows, so they said they forced entry.

One male transient burn victim was reported, who later died.
