Oklahoma man pleads guilty to murdering estranged wife

DEWEY COUNTY, Okla. – An Oklahoma man has pleaded guilty to shooting his estranged wife to death.

On Wed. Jan. 6, Dewey County deputies found Cassandra Baldwin, 26, dead inside her Taloga home.

Authorities say the woman was shot to death.

Lanne Baldwin, 24, had also been shot, but he was alive, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officials reported at the time.

He was transported to an Oklahoma City hospital to be treated for his injuries.

On Jan. 10, authorities arrested Lanne Baldwin on a first degree murder warrant.

Today, Nov. 29, Lanne Baldwin pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.

He was sentenced to life in prison.
