Police searching for man who robbed local convenience store at gunpoint

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly robbed a local convenience store at gunpoint earlier this week.

On Nov. 29. around 2:45 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of S.W. 29th St. on reports of an armed robbery.

The store owner told police that he was sitting behind the counter when a Hispanic male entered the store, pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect also demanded the victim hand over his cellphone, the police report states.

After taking the cash and the phone, the suspect ran out of the store and got into a Dodge Durango with no tag and drove away.

Surveillance cameras captured video of the robbery.
