Update: Fire crews extinguish house fire in S.E. Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Firefighters extinguished a house fire in southeast Oklahoma City Friday morning.

Fire crews were called to the 3700 block of S.E. 51 around 8:24 a.m.

Witnesses at the scene say flames were shooting from the attic.

The two residents inside the home were able to make it out safely.

Investigators believe the fire started in the heat/air system.

No word on how much damage the home sustained.
