OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man was arrested after he allegedly shared child pornography with a sheriff’s deputy in Canadian County.

Investigators with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office were conducting an investigation into child pornography being shared from a computer in Oklahoma City.

Authorities eventually tracked it down to 51-year-old Angelo John’s home.

Officials learned that John allegedly had a computer set up to download and share child pornography automatically while he was at work.

“When my investigators [told me] John possessed videos and photographs of newborns being raped, it really sickened me. Every predator case we solve is unique and presents a clear danger to our children. This office is and will remain committed to pursuing child predators, and removing them from society in order to protect our children,” said Chris West, Canadian County Undersheriff.

Investigators say they found over 2,500 images and videos of child pornography at John’s home.

He was arrested on one count of aggravated possession of child pornography, two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
