OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man was arrested after workers at a library noticed him inhaling gasoline inside the building.

On Nov. 28, officers were called to the Almonte Library in southwest Oklahoma City on a disturbance call.

The library’s security guard told police that a man at a computer was huffing a bottle of gasoline.

According to the arrest affidavit, officers could smell gasoline when they got close to 30-year-old Anthony Bartlett and noticed a Vitamin Water bottle full of gas.

Bartlett reportedly told officers that he “was Deadpool and his secret identity was Ryan Reynolds.”

Officials learned that Bartlett had actually been banned from the library in 2015.

Bartlett was arrested for trespassing on private property and inhaling a harmful substance.

Just one day before this incident at the library, Bartlett was arrested for inhaling gasoline at the Marriott in Bricktown.
