Police: Man suspected of driving drunk hit Oklahoma police chief head-on

CHATTANOOGA, Okla. – An Oklahoma police chief is recovering after being hit head-on by another vehicle.

According to KSWO, the Chattanooga police chief was traveling on Hwy 36 when an oncoming vehicle swerved and hit him head-on on Saturday.

The police chief was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released.

Troopers say the driver of the car that hit him was arrested at the scene for suspicion of driving under the influence.
