EDMOND, Okla. – Authorities in Edmond are searching for a man who is suspected of kidnapping a woman from her apartment.

Just past midnight on Tuesday, officers were called to the 2500 block of N. Thomas after a resident called 911 about a burglary in progress.

Authorities say the woman on the line told dispatchers that a man was trying to break into her apartment.

At one point, she stopped talking to dispatchers but the line was still open.

Officials say they could hear a struggle but could not contact the resident.

When officers arrived, the door to the woman’s apartment had been kicked in and she was nowhere to be found.

Later that morning, the woman returned to her apartment and told police that she was taken against her will by her ex-boyfriend.

Now, officers are searching for 23-year-old Devin Ramon Dar-Khan. Dar-Khan is also wanted out of Garfield County for failure to appear on domestic assault and escape from detention warrants.

He was last seen near N.W. 122nd St. and Pennsylvania Ave. in the Chelsea Apartments.

He was last seen wearing jeans, black hi-top Converse and a red long-sleeved Nike shirt with the Tostitos logo.

He may also be going by the name Devin Butler.

If you have any information on Dar-Khan, call 911.
