SandRidge Santa Run runners hit the streets for a festive 5K

OKLAHOMA CITY – Runners and walkers of all ages will be prancing the streets of downtown Oklahoma City Saturday.

The SandRidge Santa Run, a festive holiday race, will include a 5K race, a one-mile Fun Run, and a free Kids’ Dash, plus a warm-up with Rumble the Bison.

Activities at SandRidge Energy’s corporate headquarters, also the start and finish line for all races, includes free photos printed on-site from the SNL booth.

There will also be free face painting, mascot appearances, build-your-own trail mix bar, a coloring station, a costume contest with cash prizes, and “The Case for Santa” performances by the Mad Scientist.

Medals will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age bracket for the 5K race, while cash prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female finisher.

Packet pick-up will take place the day of the event at SandRidge Energy at 123 Robert S. Kerr Avenue in Oklahoma City.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the races begin at 8:45 a.m.

Guests can also sign up the day of the event.

Registrations prices are $35 for the 5K race, $20 for the 1 mile fun run, and the Kids’ Dash is free.
