Power outage at Oklahoma elementary school traps students in elevator

Several students at a Tulsa elementary were trapped in an elevator after a power outage Tuesday morning.

TULSA, Okla. – It may be some people’s worst nightmares, but several students are now free after being trapped inside an elevator at an Oklahoma elementary school.

According to KJRH, a power outage at Tulsa’s Sequoyah Elementary School resulted in two students were stuck in an elevator.

School officials say the students were stuck in the elevator for about 15 minutes.

Officials say several cars hit power poles on Yale Ave., which resulted in three outages on Tuesday morning.
