Reports: Oklahoma City business owner attacked during violent armed robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY - Authorities are investigating a violent armed robbery on the city's southwest side.

Around 3:30 p.m., emergency crews were called to an armed robbery in the 2300 block of S.W. 44th St.

Initial reports indicate that the alleged suspects came into a store that sells work clothing and began beating the owner.

The owner's wife chased after the suspects, who began shooting at her. At this point, we believe she was not hurt.

So far, police have not released details about the owner's injuries or descriptions of the suspects.
