Cowboys Roll Past Arkansas-Pine Bluff

Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball team hit 12 three-pointers and were 32 of 40 at the free throw line to power their way to a 102-66 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

On the day head coach Brad Underwood celebrated his 53rd birthday, five Cowboys scored in double figures, with Jeffrey Carroll leading OSU with 18 points.

Leyton Hammonds had 16 points, while freshman Thomas Dziagwa had 14 points and made four of OSU’s 12 three-pointers.

Fellow freshman Lindy Waters added 13 and Cameron McGriff 10.

Guard Jawun Evans returned to the Cowboys after missing last Saturday’s game at Tulsa with a shoulder injury.

Evans had five points, hit a three-pointer and had two assists.

There were a combined 54 fouls called in the game, with OSU going 32-40 at the foul line and Pine Bluff 19-for-28.

OSU improved to 8-2 on the season.

The Cowboys visit Wichita State this Saturday at 6:00 pm.
