OKLAHOMA CITY - A group of local elementary students got to meet someone very special earlier this week.

The Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry went out to FD Moon Academy and surprised the kids with doughnuts, hot chocolate, clydesdales, miniature horses and a reindeer.

The 6-year-old reindeer named "Prancer" is from Oklahoma. She got back from a trip to Louisiana where she was the guest of honor at a Christmas party for the New Orleans Saints.

The State Board of Agriculture says it was a fun opportunity to spread some Christmas cheer and teach kids about agriculture.
