TULSA, Okla. – It is not something that you expect on your wedding day, but one Oklahoma bride says a thief targeted her on her special day.

“On your day, you’re not thinking that that’s going to happen to you,”¬†Marissa Brown told FOX 23.

While Marissa was getting married to the love of her life, a thief was at work behind the scenes.

Investigators believe a thief went into the bridal parlor during the weekend and went through the guests belongings.

Authorities say the suspect made off with Brown’s credit card and the maid of honor’s.

However, Brown didn’t know about the crime until the next day when she couldn’t check out of her hotel room because someone had racked up charges on her card.

Now, police want to speak with Connor McDermott, who is considered a person of interest in the case.
