EDMOND, Okla. – Drivers in Edmond are being encouraged to avoid a busy intersection following a water line break.

Around 3 p.m. on Friday, crews with Edmond’s Public Works Department were called to a water line break near 15th and Bryant.

Officials say that 15th St. will be closed to traffic, so drivers will need to find an alternate route.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be able to pass through the intersection, but lanes will likely be narrowed.

Homeowners in the area may be experiencing low water pressure at this time, and officials say others may soon experience low to no pressure as the water line is repaired.

So far, officials have not given an estimated time for repairs.
