WildCare caring for opossum who was shot in the neck, had hot wax poured on it

NOBLE, Okla. – An organization that helps injured wildlife is asking for help after finding an opossum that appeared to have been injured by a human.

WildCare Oklahoma announced that volunteers are treating an opossum that suffered from multiple wounds.

Organizers say the animal was suffering from a wound to its jaw, had a fractured front leg, was shot twice in the neck and had hot wax poured on it.
