Police identify man shot to death in N.E. Oklahoma City, woman arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police confirm one person was shot to death in northeast Oklahoma City Wednesday morning.

Around 8:45, police were called to reports of a shooting in the 3300 block of N.E. 19th St.

A caller reported there was a man injured; however, police later confirmed the injured person succumbed to their injuries.

On Wednesday afternoon, investigators announced that the victim was identified as 44-year-old Vincense DeWayne Williams.

Authorities say they interviewed and arrested 40-year-old Georgette Haddox on a complaint of first-degree murder. Investigators say Haddox and Williams were dating.
