Animal crews rescue exotic bird in tree in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY - NewsChannel 4 was on scene Friday afternoon when Animal Welfare tried to rescue an exotic bird in a tree.

The bird was first discovered Thursday by a woman when she saw it in her backyard.

Crews tried to get the bird down multiple times, even by climbing the tree.

They finally caught it when it landed on a power line.

Animal Welfare says the bird likely belongs to someone.

It is currently at a shelter.
