New OU head football coach Lincoln Riley has only been with the Sooners program for two years, but he's already very familiar with the tradition of Oklahoma football, the former players who support it, and the rabid fan base attached to it.

At his introductory news conference on Wednesday, Riley talked about welcoming former players to the program, continuing the winning tradition, and his message to the fan base.

Riley also spoke of the coaches who have mentored him, along his quick rise to becoming a major college football head coach at the age of 33.
