Suspicious device found near NW Oklahoma City bank prompts FBI investigation

OKLAHOMA CITY – The FBI is investigating after a suspicious device was found near a bank in northwest Oklahoma City Saturday morning.

Around 9 a.m., the device was found on the ATM at a Bank of America on the 53rd block of N. May.

Officials say it was placed there for an attempted robbery, but failed and no money was stolen.

The FBI is now investigating the case.
