Oklahoma's football team went through its first preseason practice on Monday afternoon in Norman.

It was the first under new head coach Lincoln Riley, who despite his increased responsibility, expects nothing to change in the communication his quarterback Baker Mayfield.

For the OU defensive players, the change in head coach goes from the defensive minded Bob Stoops to an offensive play caller in Riley.

The Sooners on that side of the ball don't feel like it will be that much of a change.

Oklahoma's players feel they have to start quickly this season, and believe their preparation for the season began long before any official practices.
