Former OU head coach Bob Stoops dropped by the Sooners' football practice on Wednesday morning.

Later in the day, OU issued a statement freshman quarterback Chris Robison has been dismissed from the squad for violating team rules.

Oklahoma is now being led by Lincoln Riley, who has had a long and close relationship with Ruffin McNeill, his first hire to his coaching staff.

Riley and McNeill coached together at Texas Tech, then when McNeill became the head coach at East Carolina, Riley became his offensive coordinator.

The Sooners have high expectations for Shawnee freshman Creed Humphrey, who's expected to make an impact on the offensive line.
