OKLAHOMA CITY - Officials are investigating a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City Thursday night.

It started when Oklahoma City police received a call for a shooting, then the Oklahoma City Fire Department received a call at the same address for a house fire.

Officials responded to the scene near N.W. 33rd and Dewey Ave. around 9:30 p.m.

When fire crews arrived, police had a portion of the street shut down.

Crews knocked the fire out and nobody was found inside the home.

Initial reports from officials said a person was found with a gunshot wound and transported to the hospital.

However, fire crews say the victim suffered a laceration, and not a gunshot wound.

Authorities are still investigating.
