TULSA, Okla. – The 15-year-old daughter of a man who was shot to death outside a Tulsa restaurant in an attempted robbery is still in shock.
On Sunday morning, Jasmine Cordova’s life changed.
After waking up, her mother told her that her father, Jose Luis Cordova, had been killed in a robbery near Tacos Don Francisco.
Investigators believe that Cordova was a random victim of an attempted robbery. Police say that when he fought back, the alleged suspect shot him.
“Crazy how you can see someone one day, and the next day they’re gone,” Jasmine Cordova told FOX 23. “And mostly because he wasn’t like, to get in problems.”
After shooting Cordova, police say surveillance video captured the alleged suspect leaning over his body and going through his pockets.
Although the crime was captured on video, officials say they are still working to identify the suspect.
So far, no arrests have been made.
