OKLAHOMA CITY-- While many shoppers headed out in search of Black Friday deals at local stores, the beautiful weather brought out hundreds of families to the annual HoliDazzle Event and winter coat drive at Science Museum Oklahoma.
This family-friendly event sponsored by Oklahoma based company, Paycom, is held in conjunction with Brad Edward’s Warmth 4 Winter Coat Drive.
“We are so happy to be a part of HoliDazzle and working with the Salvation Army to gather up coats for Oklahoman’s in need,” said Jason Bodin, Public Relations and Corporate Communications director at Paycom.
Families who donated new or gently used coats got $5 dollars off admission to Science Museum Oklahoma.
In Your Corner consumer reporter, Scott Hines was on hand to greet families, take pictures and thank Oklahoman’s for their generous coat donations.
Santa Claus took time out from his busy schedule to take pictures with families and to listen to their Christmas wish lists.
Hot chocolate was served and lots of children enjoyed their candy canes Santa Claus handed out after taking pictures.
