OKLAHOMA CITY – Pets can get in the holiday spirit during the third annual ‘Dog Day in December’ holiday party.

‘A Dog Day in December’ will take place Friday, Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Midtown Mutts Dog Park, located at 407 W. Park Pl. The event is free and open to the public.

At the event, dogs and their owners can take photos with Santa for a suggested donation of $5, and enjoy free ‘puppuccinos’ from The Children’s Hospital Volunteers’ new Paws for Purpose program.

Goodie bags stuffed with dog treats, toys and Midtown swag will be available for $20 each. Each bag will also contain a complimentary beer ticket at the nearby ‘After Party at the Holiday Pop-Up Shops’ for guests to redeem at The Big Friendly Beer Bus near N.W. 10th and Hudson Ave.

The proceeds from ‘A Dog Day in December’ will go to the Midtown Association.
