Believe it or not, it was possible Mike Gundy had coached his final game in Stillwater in OSU's win over Kansas. Pat Jones of the Sports Animal reports that Gundy was offered the head coaching job at Florida last weekend.

Gundy subsequently turned down the job. It eventually went to Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen. Mullen was once an offensive coordinator at UF guiding the Gators to two national championships with Tim Tebow.

The Midwest City native is about the close out his 13th season at the helm at Oklahoma State. He told the Tulsa World on Saturday that he's never felt more comfortable at the school and is very happy with the direction Oklahoma State is heading.
