COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla. – Authorities say an Oklahoma man is dead after a freak accident in Comanche County.

On Nov. 28, emergency crews were called to the corner of Happy Hollow Rd. and King Rd. following an accident involving a Polaris Razor.

Investigators say 32-year-old Scott Thomas Brewer was driving the Polaris Razor along the road when he left the roadway and struck a cable that was stretched across two poles.

The impact forced him and a passenger off of the Razor, and the vehicle rolled and came to rest on top of Brewer.

Brewer was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he died from his injuries.

At this point, authorities say the cause of the crash is still under investigation. However, the trooper’s report states that alcohol may have played a role.
