Oklahoma woman arrested for first-degree murder after fight over PlayStation
OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have arrested a woman accused of murdering someone after a fight over a PlayStation.
In mid-October, police rushed to the Will Rogers Courts housing complex near southwest 15th and Penn on reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims at the home.
Both victims were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Unfortunately, one of the victims, identified as 23-year-old Eugene Johnson, later succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital.
After interviewing witnesses at the scene, officers learned that a fight broke out between the two victims and the suspect, 22-year-old Sasha Hamilton the night of the shooting.
An arrest affidavit shows the fight started over a PlayStation.
Witnesses said Hamilton shot both of the victims during the altercation and then fled the scene.
After more than a month on the run, Hamilton has been arrested.
She was arrested Tuesday evening and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
