Friday Night Heroes, Playoffs Week 4

Five state championships were decided in Oklahoma high school football on Friday night during week 4 of the playoffs.

Semifinal games were played in three other classes, while Class 2A is playing their semifinal games on  Saturday.

Here is the complete list of scores from Friday night:

Class 6A-I Championship Game

Owasso 21, Tulsa Union 14

(Owasso wins second state championship and first since 1974.    The Rams end the Union/Jenks streak of 21 straight state titles in the state's largest class.)


Class 6A-II Championship Game

Tulsa Washington 28, Bixby 21

(Hornets win eighth state championship and first since 2010.)


Class 5A Championship Game

Carl Albert 35, McGuiness 23

(Carl Albert wins their 13th state championship and second in a row.)


Class 4A Championship Game

Heritage Hall 14, Ada 0

(Heritage Hall wins 6th state championship and third in the last four years.)


Class 3A Semifinals

John Marshall 29, Jones 26

Beggs 37, Sulphur 28


Class 2A Semifinals

Washington vs. Davis, Saturday at 7:00 pm at Moore High School

Millwood vs. Alva, Saturday at 2:00 pm at Enid High School


Class A Semifinals

Afton 52, Thomas 7

Crescent 35, Hooker 25


Class B Semifinals

Shattuck 48, Davenport 16

Laverne 66, Depew 28


Class C Championship Game

Tipton 56, Pond Creek-Hunter 8

(Tipton wins sixth state championship and fourth in the last six years.)
