Police: Oklahoma man robbed after hitting jackpot at casino

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a man was robbed by a group of people after hitting the jackpot at a local casino.

On Nov. 22, officers were called to a home along N.E. 20th St. after dispatchers received a call about a burglary. The victim told dispatchers that three men had broken into his home and stolen his phone and wallet.

When police arrived, they found that the door to the victim’s home had been kicked in and the victim was bleeding from his chin.

According to the police report, the victim said that he was at Newcastle Casino the night before and hit a $3,000 jackpot. While at the casino, the victim says he befriended a woman and invited her back to his house.

After they arrived back at his house, the victim says he hid the money and heard a knock at the front door.

At that point, he told officers that he realized that he had been “set up.”

The victim says three men kicked in the door and asked him, ‘Where is the money?’

Authorities say the victim was assaulted and the alleged thieves left with a 14-inch HP computer monitor, his wallet, credit cards and his cell phone.

Now, police have released photos of two of the alleged suspects.
