STILLWATER, Okla. — Police continue to search for a woman who has been missing for more than a month.
Stillwater police say 23-year-old Darian Hudson was reported missing on Oct. 22.
Detectives have interviewed multiple people and have been able to track Hudson’s movements through the evening of Oct. 26, when she was last seen sitting in a wooded area and walking toward the intersection of Country Club and McElroy.
"Each person we talked to led us to somebody else and like all missing person cases, we want to rule out any foul play," said Lt. Jeff Watts, with the Stillwater Police Department. "We even brought in some dogs, what they call human recovery dogs, in the event that something had happened to her and she was deceased in the woods, and all of those turned up empty."
Authorities were able to find Hudson's wallet and hooded sweatshirt, but not her. Lt. Watts says this could give clues into her mental state.
"It’s concerning because her wallet had her identification in it, her money, her credit card and stuff like that, so for her to leave that would indicate that she probably wasn’t thinking clearly," he said.
Hudson is described as a 23-year-old female, standing 5’3” and weighing 120 pounds. Family and friends have told police she does not have a vehicle and is possibly suffering from a “mental health crisis.”
Since October, Hudson has not had contact with her family, friends, or work. An employee inside of the Chili's restaurant on Perkins Rd. in Stillwater told News 4 that Hudson worked there for about two years as server. It was unlike her to not show up for work.
Hudson's family who lives in Kansas posted a Facebook message through her account saying, "We appreciate everyone that is reaching out and expressing their love and hope for her well being."
"There was information that she was possibly moving back to Kansas but we don’t have anything to confirm that. She had just paid up on her rent here, so there’s nothing for us to believe that she was getting ready to move immediately," explained Watts.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Mary Kellison with Stillwater Police at 405-742-8357 or the tip line at 405-742-8327.
