CHOCTAW, Okla. – The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office says a standoff has ended peacefully in Choctaw.

Officials responded near S. Henney Rd. and SE 15th Street Saturday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office says it started when a homeowner reported his grandson threatened him with a gun. That’s when the homeowner left the home and called 911.

Authorities say the suspect then barricaded himself in a vehicle when deputies arrived.

After a tactical team arrived, officials were able to talk the subject out of the vehicle and he surrendered peacefully.

He was taken into custody.

No one was injured.
