OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating the homicide of a 69-year-old Oklahoma City man.

Around 4 a.m. on May 25, 2017, officers were called to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 4000 block of S.E. 45th Terrace.

When officers arrived, they learned that 69-year-old Freddie Joseph Hill and another man were involved in an altercation.

During the altercation, police say Hill sustained trauma to his head.

He was transported to a local hospital where he died on June 5th as a result of his injuries.

In October 2017, the medical examiner ruled Hill’s death as a homicide.

Right now, no arrests have been made in the case.

Police say the case is ongoing and will be presented to the local District Attorney’s Office at the conclusion of the investigation.
