OKLAHOMA CITY – One Oklahoma teen was killed and another was injured in a crash in Ponca City over the weekend.

Around 9:11 p.m. on December 16, authorities say a 16-year-old boy was driving with another 16-year-old boy on North Avenue at U Street when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over two times.

Officials believe the teen was speeding when the crash occurred.

The driver, who officials say was not wearing a seat-belt, was ejected approximately 73 feet from the vehicle, a trooper listed in the report.

Both 16-year-old boys were rushed to a local hospital.

The driver was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.

The other boy remains stable. Officials say he was wearing his seat-belt when the crash occurred.

Neither of the teens have been identified by authorities at this time.

However, the teen who was killed in the crash has been identified by family members as Adam Cole.

Family members have set up a GoFundMe to help pay for Adam’s medical and funeral expenses.
