Police investigate fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City.

The shooting was reported around noon on Tuesday at a convenience store near N.W. 10th Street and N. Blackwelder Avenue.

Police said a man was lying against the store and he was pronounced dead en route to a hospital. A suspect is still at large.

A witness told News 4 he had heard three gunshots, drove to the scene and then heard multiple more shots.

The witness said, when he arrived, he found the victim.

The death is now being investigated as a homicide. Investigators collected shell casings and took photographs at the scene.
