Study: OKC ranks in Top 20 Best Places for Christmas Celebrations

OKLAHOMA CITY – According to a new study, Oklahoma has made it in the Top 20 for Best Places for Christmas Celebrations.

Wallethub, a personal finance website, compared the 100 biggest cities across 29 key metrics.

The data set ranges from Christmas events per capita to average price per Christmas party ticket to shopping centers and outlets per capita.

Oklahoma came in at No. 19 on the list.

Rankings for Oklahoma City:

  • 12th in Avg. Price per Christmas Party Ticket
  • 28th in Christmas Events per Capita
  • 45th in Toy Stores and Hobby Shops per Capita
  • 13th in Christmas Markets per Capita
  • 8th in Cost of Three-Star Hotel Room
  • 8th in % of Christians

  1. Chicago, IL
  2. San Francisco, CA
  3. Pittsburgh, PA
  4. New York, NY
  5. Seattle, WA
