OKLAHOMA CITY –  Emergency crews were called to the city’s southwest side after a vehicle crashed into a home.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday, firefighters were called to an accident at a home near S.W. 44th and McKinley.

Officials with the Oklahoma City Fire Department say a driver lost control of their vehicle and hit the front of a home along S. McKinley.

Investigators say the vehicle came to rest after it was four feet inside the house.

A woman was asleep on the couch at the time of the crash, and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver was not injured.
