OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City teenager was rescued by police officers after she was found in Lake Stanley Draper earlier this week.

On April 17, emergency crews were called to the lake following a report of an attempted suicide.

When police officers arrived at the lake, they heard a girl screaming for help.

According to the police report, one Oklahoma City officer was already in the water keeping the girl’s head above water as another officer ran to help. In all, four officers on the scene helped pull the girl to safety.

Officials say she was transported to a local hospital.
