OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating a bizarre shooting in northwest Oklahoma City that left one person injured.

Officers responded to the area near N.W. 12th St. and N. Pennsylvania Ave. on Wednesday night following a reported shooting.

Investigators say a woman was sitting in her car when she was approached by a man.

The man asked the woman if he could have her car, and she told him no. At that point, officials say the suspect then shot at the woman, striking her in the leg.

The woman drove a few blocks to her home and then returned to the location with several other people to search for the suspect.

Sometime during the search for the suspect, the victim’s vehicle was stolen.
