Three car wreck sends five people to the hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY – Five people were transported to the hospital following a three vehicle wreck near NW 16th and MacArthur.

Officials say the crash was caused when a stolen Toyota Sequoia ran a red light, striking a Chevy Tahoe. The stolen vehicle then spun out, hitting a red truck nearby.

Two people from the Chevy Tahoe were transported to the hospital, one of them with extremely critical injuries.

A man and his pregnant wife, who were in the red truck, were also transported to the hospital.

According to police, the driver of the stolen vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to be released and booked into the Oklahoma City Jail.
