UPDATE: Cleveland County Courthouse back open after power outage

UPDATE: Power has been restored to downtown Norman and the Cleveland County Courthouse and the Sheriff’s Office headquarters are now open to the public.

CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. – The Cleveland County Courthouse was closed on Friday morning.

Just before 8 a.m., officials said the closure was due to a power outage.

OG&E did not initially have an estimate as to when the power would be restored but later said it would be within the hour.

Shortly after, officials said the power was restored and the courthouse was opening.

No other details have been released at this time.
