Oklahoma middle school student arrested after bringing weapon on campus

NOBLE, Okla. – An Oklahoma middle school student was taken into custody after allegedly bringing a weapon to school on Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, officials with the Noble Public School District learned that there was a potential threat at Curtis Inge Middle School.

Reports indicated that a student was in possession of a weapon on campus.

A short time later, school officials discovered a weapon and the student was arrested and taken to the Noble Police Department.

“As always, the safety and security of our students and staff are our top priority. For this reason, no further information or detail about this incident will be released. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Noble Public Schools,” a statement from the district read.
