UPDATE: Power has been restored, police say.

DUNCAN, Okla. – Residents in one Oklahoma town are experiencing power outages after a problem with a transmission line.

According to Duncan police, the power outage is due to the failure of a PSO transmission line in the Marlow area.

“PSO sent a truck to repair the line but the truck did not have the equipment to reach the height necessary to make the repair. Duncan Power has been dispatched for mutual aid. Our truck is tall enough to reach the line. We will have power up as soon as possible,” Duncan police said on Facebook.

Police say the outage affects both PSO and Duncan Power.
