Suspect in custody, lockdown lifted at Crooked Oak Public Schools

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a local school was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon following a reported shooting call.

Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were called to the area of S.E. 15th and Eastern after someone called 911 to report hearing gunshots.

As a result, Crooked Oak Public Schools was placed on lockdown as a precaution.

A short time later, a suspect was taken into custody.
