3.6 magnitude earthquake recorded near Waynoka

WAYNOKA, Okla. – Residents in one Oklahoma community may have felt the ground rattle on Friday morning.

Around 9:51 a.m. on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 3.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded near the town of Waynoka.

Officials say the epicenter was located about 11 miles southeast of Waynoka, and 37 miles east of Woodward.
